The Qatari Emiri Diwan said, “The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, made a phone call to his brother, Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara, confirming the support of the unity of Syria and the integrity of its territory.”
The Emiri Diwan added, in a statement, that the Emir of Qatar affirmed the fixed position in condemning the Israeli attacks on Syrian soil, stressing that the Israeli attacks were a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, a violation of the United Nations Charter and a threat to the stability of the region.
The Diwan explained that the Sharia President thanked the Emir of Qatar for his support for Syria, appreciating his role in enhancing security and stability.

On Thursday, the Syrian presidency said that President Ahmed Al -Sharaa received 3 phone calls from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Syrian presidential statement indicated that the communications dealt with recent developments on the Syrian scene, especially in southern Syria.
