The Israeli occupation army announced – Monday morning – that 5 soldiers, including 3 officers, were killed in the battles taking place in the Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip, while the Israeli media spoke of a large gap between the numbers of wounded announced by the army compared to the partial lists announced by hospitals.

The announced number of dead in the Israeli army has risen to 107 since the beginning of the ground campaign in the Gaza Strip on October 26, including 36 dead since the end of the truce 10 days ago. The total number has also risen to 432 soldiers and officers killed since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on July 7. Last October.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari acknowledged that the fighting is still fierce in a number of areas, such as Shuja’iya, Jabalia, and Khan Yunis, where the Israeli army is facing intense resistance, confirming that there have been deaths and injuries among its ranks.

Yesterday, the Israeli army announced the death of an officer due to wounds he sustained in battles in northern Gaza two days ago.

Big gap

The Israeli Soroka Hospital in Beersheba said that in the last 24 hours, it received 28 Israeli soldiers who were injured in the battles in the Gaza Strip, 6 of whom were in critical condition.

According to the hospital, 44 soldiers and officers who were injured in the Gaza battles are still receiving treatment in the hospital, including 9 in serious condition. The hospital confirmed that it has provided treatment to 2,034 soldiers and officers since last October 7.

Haaretz newspaper also quoted sources as saying that there is a large gap between the number of wounded soldiers announced by the Israeli occupation army today, which is 1,600, and the numbers of wounded soldiers according to the partial lists announced by the hospitals that received wounded soldiers since the first days of the war, which amounted to about 4,591.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed that the number of wounded soldiers reached about 5,500 soldiers.

Al-Qassam Declaration

Yesterday, Sunday, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida announced in a speech obtained by Tel Aviv Tribune that Al-Qassam fighters completely or partially destroyed 180 occupation vehicles within 10 days.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also confirmed the killing of 40 Israeli soldiers in Jabalia and east of Khan Yunis, and the targeting of 44 vehicles within two days, and published pictures of the targeting of an Israeli Merkava tank in the Tal al-Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also published a video clip showing occupation helicopters transporting wounded soldiers after the Sufa military site was bombed and fires broke out inside it.
