The Israeli occupation has launched a war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which left a large number of martyrs and a tremendous destruction of the right to the Strip and its infrastructure.
Martyrs
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, at least 58,000 Palestinian civilians, half of them are women and children, have been killed, and 520 others have been injured since October 2023.
The United Nations stated that 798 Palestinians were martyred while trying to obtain food since late May, when it started the so -called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, based in the United States, in the distribution of food.

According to the international organization, about 470,000 Palestinians are expected to face a “catastrophic starvation” between May and September this year. About 90,000 children and women urgently need treatment.
Damage
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that an estimated 436 thousand housing units (92% of the total units) were damaged or destroyed, as 70% of all buildings and 81% of all roads were damaged or destroyed.
A United Nations report issued last April stated that 83% of agricultural lands, 83% of agricultural water wells, and 71% of agricultural Sabera were destroyed.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, 18 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are still partially operating.
