In this episode of Golf Travel Tales, Immy Barclay visits the City of Lights of Rabat, Morocco. Immy’s adventure begins at the Bahia Golf Beach in Bouznika, with its American-style fairways and characteristic sand bunkers, then at the magnificent Vichy Celestin Spa Hotel.

During her visit, Immy discovers the historic Oudayas kasbah. We stop at the Museum of Adornment and the Andalusian Garden, which offer us a view of the rich cultural past of Morocco.

Walking along Rue des Consuls in the Medina district, Immy discovers the fusion of historical charm and modern craftsmanship. As night falls, Immy emerges into the heart of the Medina and spends her evening savoring authentic Moroccan cuisine at the Zyrib restaurant, with breathtaking views of the Hassan Tower.

The adventure continues on the red course of Robert Trent Jones at the Royal Dar Salaam Golf Course, famous for its emblematic hole called “manta ray” and which hosts the Hassan II Trophy and the Lalla Meryem Cup.

Finally, Immy presents the different golf courses in Morocco, with a reflection on the remarkable difficulties offered by the three courses of the Royal Dar Es Salaam.
