The photo played an important role in documenting the battles and operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip against Israeli targets, and the camera accompanied most of the resistance operations, especially during the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.

The first photographed operation by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), dates back to September 1993, when 3 Israeli soldiers were killed from zero distance in the Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, in an operation carried out by 3 fighters, the most prominent of whom is Al-Qassam leader Imad Aqel.

After accompanying most of the Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations against Israeli soldiers, the camera conveyed their operations in a qualitative leap in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood. On the first day, 100 days ago, Al-Qassam documented with audio and video the process of storming Israeli settlements and camps on the borders of the Gaza Strip.

According to a report by Tel Aviv Tribune, videos broadcast by the resistance documented the Qassam operations and the fall of Israeli soldiers into the hands of Palestinian fighters for the first time in the history of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Audio and video losses

When the Israeli ground attack on the Gaza Strip began, the battle of the image moved to another situation, as the videos show a Qassam fighter placing a Hamas flag on a burning Israeli tank in the Beach Camp northwest of Gaza City, and another fighter shows him throwing a homemade explosive device at the Israeli Merkava.

The videos also showed another fighter of the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement – hitting an Israeli vehicle with a direct hit shell only dozens of meters away.

Tel Aviv Tribune obtained video clips of zero-range fighting being fought by Al-Qassam fighters in Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Sheikh Radwan, Al-Zaytoun and other Palestinian neighborhoods and areas.

The Al-Qassam Brigades prove in the videos that they continued to broadcast during the 100 days of the war – as stated in Suhaib Al-Assa’s report – that their fighters inflict heavy losses on the ranks of the occupation soldiers, which means that their losses are transmitted in audio and video.

While Israel announces that it has destroyed 700 rocket launching pads, resistance rockets are launched from northern Gaza, after a systematic Israeli destruction of all necessities of life in the Gaza Strip that lasted 100 days.

In some videos broadcast by the Al-Qassam Brigades, it announces that it bombed Tel Aviv at zero in the year 2024, and within only 28 minutes, it publishes scenes of rocket launches on the official Al-Qassam accounts.
