According to the Israeli army, the hostages found this Friday, May 24, 2024 “were murdered during the October 7 massacre” and their bodies were then taken from Kibbutz Mefalsim in the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists.

An identification procedure was carried out by the Israeli National Forensic Institute at the request of the army.

According to her, the bodies found are those of Hanan Yablonka, 42, Orion Hernandez-Radoux, a 30-year-old Franco-Mexican, and Michel Nisenbaum, 59.

The President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron expressed his “immense sadness” after the death of the Franco-Mexican hostage at the hands of Hamas.

This Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel had a duty to return those kidnapped, whether they were alive or dead.

About half of the hostages taken in the October 7 attack have since been released, most in exchange for Palestinian prisoners during a week-long ceasefire in November.
