The Andalusian-style heist went wrong: Madrid police arrested two people suspected of having stolen 700 pieces of Iberian ham.

Spanish law enforcement estimates the value of the loot at 200,000 euros.

The charcuterie had been stolen in Vilanueva de Cordoba, in the heart of Andalusia.

The thieves left part of the cargo in a dryer.

The Civil Guard found the other pieces of Pata Negra in two vans parked in the suburbs of Madrid.

The two suspects are placed under judicial supervision.
