The US special envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, said in an interview with Al -Jazeera that the current Syrian administration is in quietly with Israel on all issues.
While Barak considered that the government of Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara does not want a war with Israel, in his speech to the island, he called for an opportunity to the new Syrian administration.
Barack considered in a previous post on his account in X, that the birth of the new Syria begins with the truth, accountability and cooperation with the region, and that the fall of the Bashar al -Assad regime opened the door to peace, and that the lifting of sanctions will enable the Syrian people to open the door and explore the road towards prosperity and security.
The US special envoy to Syria confirmed earlier that “President Donald Trump’s vision of Syria is full of hope and can be investigated.”
After decades of a turbulent relationship, the current US administration shows an openness to Damascus, especially after the meeting that brought together US President Donald Trump and Syrian Ahmed Al -Sharaa in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on May 13, and resulted in the decision to lift US sanctions imposed on Syria.
