Tens of thousands of Israelis take to the streets of Jerusalem to demand that the Prime Minister hold early elections.

Monday’s protest was held near Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence and the Knesset building.

The demonstrators are protesting against the management of the war against Hamas and demanding the release of dozens of hostages still imprisoned in the Palestinian enclave.

Since the start of the war, around a hundred hostages have been freed.

On October 7, alongside the massacres, Hamas terrorists kidnapped 251 people.

According to the IDF, 116 hostages are still in Gaza. Among them, 41 are believed to have died.

The anti-Netanyahu protests come days after the resignations from the war cabinet of centrist leaders Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot.

A nine-member security cabinet is now responsible for waging the war against Hamas.

On the ground, the IDF announced a daily pause in fighting in the south of the Palestinian enclave, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., in an area stretching from the Kerem Shalom crossing point to the Rafah European hospital.
