Teen among five Palestinians killed by Israeli air strikes on Jenin | News Israel-Palestine Conflict

The deadly raids, which Israel calls the “Iron Wall” campaign, was launched only a few days after the cease-fire was agreed in Gaza.

A teenager was one of five people killed in Israeli air attacks in Jenin while the deadly Israeli army raids continued through the occupied West Bank.

During the first attack, an Israeli drone struck a group of people in a street in the city of Jenin, killing Ahmad al-Sadi, 16, and injuring two others, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa and the managers local.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health later said that four others were killed in Israeli air strikes in the Jenin region.

The second and third attacks took place a few minutes later in two separate places, according to the governor of Jenin, Kamal Abu al-Rub.

“After the strike that killed the child (SADI), an Israeli drone strike hit a car in Qabatiya and killed two young people,” Al-Rub told the AFP news agency.

“A few minutes later, another strike of drones in Jenin killed two other young people who were on a motorcycle.”

The deadly raids, which Israel calls the “Wall Wall” campaign, was launched only a few days after the ceasefire was agreed in Gaza. Since then, Israeli forces have killed at least 20 Palestinians through occupied territory and injured dozens of others.

In addition to the fatal attack on Jenin, the Israeli army also carried out intensive military operations in Tulkarem City and its refugee camp for a sixth consecutive day, forcing the Palestinians to leave their homes.

The Israeli forces also stormed several other regions of the Cisjordanie occupied on Saturday, including the Balata, Naplus camp and the Al-Ein refugee camp.

The Israeli army has made a series of raids during the night, especially by pulling civilians in a car on the Halhul-Hebron bridge north of Hebron and stopping those inside, and by fire a house Near a mosque south of Hebron.

During a separate night raid, the Israeli army also pulled gas grenades in houses west of Hebron while the army searched the home of prisoner released Shehadeh al-Jiyawi, Wafa reported.

In addition to raids, the Israeli army also arrested, according to the Palestinian Information Center.

A Palestinian was arrested after the Israeli forces broke into his house in the city of occupied West Bank of Qalqilya. A second man, a student at the University of Birzeit, was arrested after the Israeli forces storm his home in the refugee camp Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah.

Since October 2023, the Israeli army and the settlers have killed at least 880 Palestinians in attacks through occupied West Bank.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Palestine Mohammad Mustafa described what is happening in the occupied West Bank as “a systematic effort to destroy the foundations of the Palestinian state”.

“We are witnessing military incursions to the governors of northern West Bank, accompanied by killing, detention, destruction of infrastructure and demolition of houses and structures. This requires urgent international action to put an end to this. »»

Earlier this month, the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres called for a “maximum restraint” of Israeli forces. He told a meeting of the UN Security Council on his fears of “an existential threat to the integrity and contiguity” of Gaza and the occupied West Bank of Israel.
