The entry of the Syrian army and police to the city of the city of As -Suwayda sparked widespread interaction among the Syrians on social media platforms, amid escalating tension between the government and the Druze militants and the expansion of the Israeli bombing circle.
The army and police forces were able to enter the city center two days after the bloody clashes between the Druze militants and the Bedouin clans, to restore stability and impose the sovereignty of the state.
And internal security imposed a curfew in As -Suwayda until further notice, before Defense Minister Muhsaf Abu Qasra announced a complete standing of fire after the agreement with the city’s elders.
The official Syrian News Agency (SANA) said that the Syrian Arab Army forces began to withdraw heavy military vehicles from As -Suwayda to the capital, Damascus, including tanks, armored vehicles and soldiers.
The spiritual presidency of the Druze welcomed the entry of the army and the police, and called in a statement “armed factions in the Suwayda governorate to cooperate with the forces of the Ministry of Interior and not to resist their entry, and hand over their weapons to them.”
But soon, Hijri, the most prominent spiritual leaders of the Druze, has no longer to call to address what he called the “barbaric campaign”, and said that the previous statement was imposed on them.
After Al -Hijri’s international intervention, the Israeli occupation army announced the bombing of targets in As -Suwayda, and said: “We attacked a number of armored vehicles, including tanks, soldiers and march vehicles.”
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said that his country is committed to preventing harm to Druze in Syria, and that Israel is working to prevent the Syrian regime from attacking them and ensuring disarmament from the area adjacent to the border.

Sham Al -Hawa tweeted, “Our war with the Zionists is coming from the first day when we dropped their client regime and the axis of minorities. The question is when ?? Whatever is welcome if it was now.”
In the context, the Israeli Channel 14 quoted an Israeli official as saying that “the recent attacks in Syria were coordinated with the Americans, and the political level takes events seriously, and determined to protect the Druze.”
