Sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that strong explosions were heard in the sky of Ramallah in the West Bank, as sirens sounded in settlements in the north and west of the West Bank, coinciding with the launch of missiles from Lebanon.
This comes after the Israeli occupation army officially announced the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah in the raid on the southern suburb of Beirut yesterday, Friday.
The occupation army had previously announced that it had monitored the launch of 5 missiles from Lebanese territory towards northern Israel and the West Bank and intercepted most of them.
The Israeli occupation army spokesman also reported that a missile fired from Lebanon landed in an open area in the West Bank.
Before that, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that air defenses intercepted a missile launched from Lebanon towards West Bank settlements at a depth of 100 kilometers, without recording any casualties.
Yesterday, Hezbollah targeted West Bank settlements for the first time with missile strikes after the attack on the southern suburb of Beirut, which targeted Hassan Nasrallah and other Hezbollah leaders.
