Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and carried out a massive arrest campaign. They also carried out raids and demolition operations in a number of areas in the West Bank, in addition to recording violations committed by Israeli settlers.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that armed clashes took place between Palestinian resistance fighters and the forces storming the city of Jenin.
The Jenin Brigade, affiliated with the Al-Quds Brigades, said that its resistance fighters clashed with the invading forces in the eastern region.
In turn, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah), confirmed that its fighters clashed with the occupation forces in the areas where they are present in Jenin.
For his part, Jamal Haweel, member of the Revolutionary Council of the Fatah movement, said that Jenin will not leave Gaza alone, and that the resistance in Jenin will continue its operations in support of the Strip.
During an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune, Hawiel added that Israel targets all Palestinians and not specific groups, stressing that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” is a result of the violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation since the Nakba.
Breaking in and demolishing
On the other hand, Israeli occupation army forces stormed the village of Bitello, west of the city of Ramallah in the West Bank.
The occupation forces were accompanied by a number of bulldozers to demolish a house inside the village under the pretext of lacking a permit.
Israeli forces also stormed the eastern area of the city of Jericho, deployed their vehicles there, and began demolishing a house in the area under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces demolished 7 residential rooms, health units, and a room for the electricity generator, in the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The head of the village council, Ibrahim Al-Hathalin, told Tel Aviv Tribune that the demolition process is a settlement massacre, adding that some of the demolished homes have had a decision to stop demolition from the Israeli court since 2008.
He also explained that the occupation forces’ return to these actions is a clear translation of the recent Israeli government decisions regarding settlement expansion and the annexation decision that Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich spoke about, according to him.
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said in a statement that the occupation carried out 17 demolition operations during the day, including 11 homes and facilities in the village of Umm al-Khair in Musafer Yatta in the Hebron Governorate.
Hamas explained that “the escalation of home demolitions in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem is an extension of the criminal war against our people and their presence on their land.”
She called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Jerusalem to continue confronting the criminal occupation policies.
It also called on the international community and the United Nations to take immediate action “to compel the criminal occupation government to stop its violations.”
Settlers provoke the Palestinians
In the context of the Israeli attacks, settlers raided Palestinian homes in the Ras Ain al-Auja area, north of the city of Jericho in the West Bank.
A settler opened fire on a group of young men at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, north of Hebron.
The settler got out of his vehicle and opened fire directly at a group of young men. He did not harm them after they managed to flee towards the Al-Arroub Agricultural School located on the opposite side of the Al-Arroub camp, next to what is known as Line 60, which the settlers take permanently.
The “Al-Baidar” organization concerned with the rights of Bedouins in the West Bank said that settlers stormed the Ras al-Ain Bedouin community in Al-Auja, north of Jericho, and searched barns and homes of the people.
According to the organization, the settlers carried out raids, moved provocatively between the residences, and took control of the water of the Auja spring.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that the occupation forces stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, and closed its main entrance.
The occupation forces stormed the town of Qabalan, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
Palestinian platforms published scenes documenting the Israeli occupation municipality’s demolition of a house in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Palestinian News Agency, the occupation municipality demolished a house belonging to the Abu Subeih family, in the Wadi Qaddum neighborhood in the town of Silwan.
The Israeli occupation army announced the arrest of the young man, Ammar Nasrallah, from the Tulkarm refugee camp.
The occupation accuses the young man of being responsible for shooting at the Bat Hefer settlement at the end of last May.
Pictures show the moment the occupation army forces shot the young man and injured him during his arrest.
