Spain: train collision leaves 13 injured


Two trains, carrying 253 people, collided on Saturday evening around 10 p.m. in Alora, in the province of Malaga, leaving 13 injured.

Two trains, carrying 253 people, collided on Saturday evening around 10 p.m., leaving 13 injured.

The incident occurred in the municipality of Alora, in the province of Malaga.

The passengers were urgently evacuated due to a fire risk, the collision having caused a major diesel leak.

The trains were partially derailed and one almost overturned.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
