All regions except Extremadura were on yellow or orange alert in the last hours.
The orange snowfall alert has been activated in Cantabria, the Pyrenees and Galicia. In Cantabria, snow accumulations of up to 15 cm are expected from 800 meters above sea level.
In the Basque Country, Navarre and Castile and Leon, heavy rains caused rivers to overflow, floods and road cuts.
