Spain officially recognizes Palestine as a state | Gaza

Spain has officially recognized Palestine as a state as part of “historic progress towards justice and the only path to peace”, according to Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. Spain joins Ireland, Norway and 144 other countries in recognizing Palestinian statehood.
