The campaign, which was launched under the title “So that Coverage Continues,” aims to help male and female journalists covering the war in the Gaza Strip, “under unprecedented circumstances, as a result of the brutality and violence taking place,” by providing replacement equipment for those they lost as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombing. The campaign aims to purchase needs from within the sector, “where there is still stock,” and the campaign also purchases used equipment if available.

Assigning male and female journalists

She added, “Given the requests from dozens of journalists in Gaza, and because we do not have sufficient funds for assistance, on December 22nd, we launched a collective campaign from individuals in general, to donate to male and female journalists in Gaza. The campaign will continue in parallel with the support on the ground, and we gathered within a day One is $12,000, and we aim to reach at least $100,000.”
