Today, Wednesday, the occupation army continued its attacks in various West Bank cities, firing live bullets at Palestinians, stabbing wounded people, and kicking them while they were being treated, hours after it carried out an air strike that led to the death of 6 martyrs in Tulkarm.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 3 people were wounded by Israeli occupation bullets today, Wednesday, in the Dheisheh refugee camp in the city of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
A Palestinian doctor said on Wednesday that Israeli soldiers attacked wounded people in the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, stabbing and beating them, which posed a threat to their lives.
The head of the Tulkarm Governorate Doctors Syndicate, Radwan Balibla, added that the Israeli army stopped Palestinian ambulances containing wounded people from Nour Shams camp and assaulted them.
He added that one of the injured was stabbed in the neck by one of the soldiers inside the ambulance, which posed a threat to his life.
Balibla pointed out that the injured person had suffered several wounds as a result of an Israeli bombing on a march, and his health condition was serious. He added that his stabbing aggravated his condition.
He pointed out that two others were taken out of the ambulances and were subjected to insults, kicks, and beatings with rifle butts on their injured areas.
Balibla described what happened as a flagrant violation of humanitarian law, calling for the intervention of international bodies to punish and hold Israel accountable.
311 martyrs
Earlier, 6 Palestinians were martyred and 3 were injured in an Israeli bombing of Nour Shams camp near Tulkarm.
According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs in the West Bank has risen to 311 since the seventh of last October.
Since the outbreak of the devastating war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the Israeli army has intensified its military operations in the West Bank and increased the pace of incursions and raids into towns and camps, leaving dozens of victims and hundreds of detainees.
The Israeli aggression on Gaza led to the fall of about 21,000 martyrs, most of whom were women and children, in addition to more than 54,000 wounded.
