On Thursday evening, the occupation army fired live bullets and sound bombs at Palestinians and their homes as part of a campaign of raids that targeted various areas of the occupied West Bank, while Israeli media reported that gunfire targeted a bus carrying settlers near the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank this morning.

Israeli forces stormed the town of Ya’bad, affiliated with the city of Jenin, raided a number of homes, set up snipers on the roofs of a number of them in the northern neighborhood, and arrested two young men after raiding their parents’ homes.

The occupation forces fired live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas at Palestinians and their homes.

In the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, an Israeli force stormed the village of Tal, southwest of the city, amid heavy gunfire, which led to clashes with Palestinians. It also stormed the Iraq al-Tayeh neighborhood inside the city and raided a residential building.

In the Shuafat camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, clashes erupted with Israeli forces, during which soldiers fired live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas at Palestinians.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Birzeit and Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah in the West Bank, and also stormed the Qalandia camp, north of Jerusalem.

It also launched an arrest campaign and confiscated surveillance camera recordings in the village of Kafr Laqif in Qalqilya.

Qabatiya operation

On the other hand, the death toll from the occupation’s military operation in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin Governorate, north of the occupied West Bank, rose to 7 martyrs and 12 wounded.

The operation included storming several homes and turning them into military barracks, and launching an arrest campaign in the town, before the occupation army withdrew its vehicles and soldiers from the town later on Thursday evening.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement on Thursday evening that its crews were able to retrieve two martyrs from inside a house that was besieged in Qabatiya.

This came after the martyrdom of two Palestinians, and the injury of a young man and a child, earlier on Thursday evening, in two separate incidents, the first by Israeli army gunfire, and the second by a drone strike in the same town.

Earlier on Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a statement that 3 Palestinians were killed and 10 others were injured during the Israeli army’s storming of Qabatiya.

This is the second raid on Qabatiya in two days, as the Israeli army raided it on Wednesday, besieged a house and arrested a Palestinian citizen before withdrawing on the same day.

An Israeli drone bombed a vehicle in Qabatiya, causing it to catch fire, while the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed in a statement that a martyr had arrived at Al-Razi Governmental Hospital in Jenin as a result of the bombing of the vehicle.

In parallel with its war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which has led to the martyrdom of more than 700 Palestinians, the injury of about 5,750, and the arrest of more than 10,700, according to official Palestinian institutions.
