The Israeli army reported that it shot a Palestinian who rammed his vehicle into a police car at the entrance to the Ofra settlement, north of Ramallah in the West Bank, while Palestinian platforms said that the perpetrator of the attack was martyred.
Hebrew websites and Palestinian platforms published scenes that they said document the moment of the attack and what they called an attempt to carry out a ramming operation at a police station near the settlement.
Israeli Channel 13 said that the perpetrator of the ramming attempt near Ofra was Youssef Ahmed Taha, a resident of Nablus.

In the middle of last month, a ramming incident led to the death of an Israeli in northern Ramallah. The occupation army said at the time that a ramming operation with a gas truck driven by a Palestinian occurred near the “Givat Assaf” intersection at a bus station, confirming that the attacker had been shot.
This comes in light of the occupation’s escalation of its military operations in the cities of the West Bank, in addition to the escalation of settler attacks on Palestinians and their property, in conjunction with the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, which left tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded and massive destruction.
