The occupation forces withdrew from the Palestine Roundabout, west of Gaza City, after more than a full month of presence there, leaving massive destruction and the bodies of martyrs scattered everywhere, in addition to provocative expressions in Hebrew.
Journalist Jihad Abu Shanab monitored for Tel Aviv Tribune the extent of the massive destruction, which affected schools, mosques, and private and international institutions. The features of the area were completely changed, and its streets were bulldozed and bombed.
Fires are still burning in homes, while operations to extract martyrs from the area continue after its neighborhoods and residential squares were bombed over the heads of its residents.
