Sexual abuse in the church in Belgium: public financing of religions in question

Since the recent broadcast of a documentary on sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, Belgium has been in turmoil. Many voices are being raised in Flanders to ask parliaments to set up a parliamentary commission of inquiry. In the meantime, the Minister of Justice asked the Bishop of Antwerp to remove members of the clergy found guilty of sexual violence from the list of people paid by the State.
