A severe thunderstorm hit central and southern Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday October 4, causing flooding and landslides and killing at least 21 people.

A severe thunderstorm hit central and southern Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, October 4, causing flooding and landslides and killing at least 21 people.

Floodwaters invaded houses, particularly damaging the village of Dusine, near Fojnica. Several houses and roads were destroyed.

Residents are now seeking help and a new route to the rest of the country.
