The ceasefire which began Friday morning at 7 a.m. local time between Israel and Hamas helped speed up the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

According to the Israel-Palestinian Authority Coordination Office (COGAT), 200 trucks entered the enclave. At least 137 were unloaded by UN teams, including fuel and gas.

And for Joe Biden, the President of the United States:

“Hundreds more trucks are being lined up, ready to enter Gaza in the coming days to support the innocent Palestinians who are suffering immensely from this war that Hamas started. Hamas doesn’t care. make them.”

From Massachusetts, the President of the United States thanked the Emir of Qatar and the President of Egypt for their help in closing the deal between Israel and Hamas.

After the start of the truce, many Palestinians wanted to return to their homes in the northern Gaza Strip, despite warnings from Israel. Some found only ruins.

At the same time, dozens of injured people were transferred from the north to hospitals in Khan Younis, in the south of the enclave, including at least 21 in serious condition, according to the United Nations agency for the coordination of humanitarian affairs.
