Scenes of the recovery of the martyrs of the “legendary scene” in Jabalia camp invade social media platforms News

“Comrades forever,” with these words, social media activists from Gaza bid farewell to the martyrs of the “legendary scene” after the spread of a video documenting the recovery of their bodies from the roof of a house in the Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza Strip, following the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from the area.

The three resistance fighters were martyred after they clashed on the roof of a building in the camp with the occupation forces and insisted on not leaving each other behind.

The details of the incident go back to last May 18, when a video clip that spread on social media platforms – which had been published by the occupation army, and activists described it as a “legendary scene” – documented the moment a Palestinian resistance fighter clashed from the roof of a house in the Jabalia camp with the occupation soldiers until he was martyred, carrying his comrade. He grabs the gun and continues the clash until he is martyred.

Scenes of the recovery of the bodies of the resistance fighters Muhammad al-Beik, Moatasem Shehadeh, and Muhammad Shehadeh, according to what press sources reported, received great interaction on social media platforms, where the steadfastness of the martyrs during the clashes aroused the feelings of everyone who watched the clip, and one of them said, “The three of them were on the roof, and the image of their steadfastness was left.” Their clash has an impact far and wide.”

While some activists – on the X platform – saw the heroic act of the three martyrs as an “example” for every free person defending his country to follow.

Scenes of the bodies being recovered spread widely, and activists revealed the names of the three martyrs, and one of them said, “It is not strange that these heroes are from the heroic village of Brier.”

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation army announced – yesterday, Friday – that the 98th Division withdrew from the Jabalia area after completing its military operations to conduct assessments regarding the next stage. It spoke of the destruction of 10-kilometre-long tunnels and the recovery of the bodies of prisoners. It also spoke of the destruction of weapons production sites and the killing of hundreds of Palestinian militants.
