Satellite images obtained by Tel Aviv Tribune revealed that the Israeli army deployed intensive military reinforcements in various locations near the eastern border of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

High-quality photos taken on May 3 show the beginning of the positioning of Israeli military crowds in three close locations on April 28, at the Amitai military base, Kibbutz Holit, and near the Kerem Shalom crossing area.

According to image analysis, there are 150 Israeli military vehicles at the Amitai base, while 20 other vehicles are stationed in Kibbutz Holit, and 120 Israeli vehicles are stationed between Holit and the Kerem Shalom crossing.

After following up and analyzing developments on the ground over the past two weeks, it became clear that the Israeli army established a logistical supply line extending from the Amitai base to the Kerem Shalom crossing, and then the road continues into the Gaza Strip, specifically east of Rafah.

The army anticipated the arrival of its forces by setting up tents to house the soldiers inside the Amitai military base, which is less than 3 kilometers from the Gaza Strip border.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced this afternoon that it had bombed Israeli military crowds at the Karm Shalom site and its surroundings with a short-range 114 mm “Rajum” missile system, while the Israeli army said that it had monitored the firing of about 10 rocket shells towards Kerem Shalom area.

Israeli media sources also confirmed that 10 Israelis were injured, some seriously, in the missile attack, which Israeli sources described as dangerous and unprecedented.
