High Russian officials will teach themselves on Tuesday with American emissaries to start talks intended to end the war in Ukraine.
For the first time since the Russian Invasion of Ukraine three years ago, senior Russian officials will be distinguished on Tuesday with their American counterparts, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said on Monday.
The purpose of this meeting is the official recovery of bilateral relations between Moscow and Washington. The discussions will also relate to the end of the war in Ukraine. Both parties must finalize the preparation of a meeting Between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
A sign of the interest in this meeting, the Kremlin spokesman said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Foreign Affairs Advisor to Vladimir Putin, Iouri Ouchakov, will go personally to the Saudi capital to take part to negotiations.
On the American side, Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff, said on Sunday on Fox News May he and the national security advisor Mike Waltz would go to Saudi Arabia for discussions on Ukraine.
As for the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, he should lead the American delegation.
