In the Russian city of Belgorod, an attack by the Ukrainian army left at least 6 dead and 17 injured. In Ukraine, several towns were targeted by Russian missiles.
Heavily damaged houses are the material toll of the Russian attacks which hit Khmelnitskyi, in western Ukraine. During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the country was targeted by 26 missiles, 13 of which were shot down, according to Kyiv.
Several areas of the country were affected, such as here in Lviv, where residential buildings as well as two schools were damaged, according to the mayor of this city, located near the Polish border.
In the eastern city of Kupiansk, the damage is not only material. At least two people were reportedly killed during this Russian assault.
In recent weeks, Moscow has intensified its air attacks, but so has Kyiv.
On the other side of the border, a bombing attributed to the Ukrainian army hit a shopping center in the Russian city of Belgorod on Thursday. Results: at least 6 dead and 17 injured, according to local authorities. Located around forty kilometers from the border with Ukraine, the city is regularly under fire.
