The United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that the lives of 2.1 million people in the Gaza Strip are at stake, calling for the end of the food blockade for 9 weeks.
The UN office confirmed that its stocks approached the existence, as the comprehensive siege on Gaza entered its third month.
For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said that more than 9 weeks passed on the siege of Gaza, in which Israel prevents the entry of all humanitarian, medical and commercial aid.
UNRWA added that the longer this siege, the more repaired – the more people – the more people.
The agency confirmed that thousands of trucks affiliated with it are ready to enter, noting that its teams in Gaza are ready to expand the scope of delivery operations.
In the context, a report by the United Nations Satellite Analysis Program showed that nearly 81% of the lands suitable for agriculture in the Gaza Strip witnessed a significant decrease in agricultural crops.
The UN report said that the destruction of agricultural lands resulted from the bombing and bulldozing operations as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 20, 2023.
Since the second of last March, Israel has prevented all the relief, food and medical aid to the sector, which are entirely 2.2 million citizens.
