The Ukrainian authorities announced the fall of a Russian fighter with a path of a march for the first time ever, while Moscow has vowed to “erase” Kiev in response to statements by Ukrainian President Voludimir Zellinski.

The Ukrainian Military Intelligence Agency said today, Saturday, that Ukraine destroyed a Russian Su-30 fighter using a missile fired by a march boat, and confirmed that it was the first shooting down of a fighter plane in the world with a path of march.

The agency added in a statement on social media that the fighter was brought down by a military intelligence unit called “Group 13” on Friday at sea near Novorosic, a large Russian coastal city overlooking the Black Sea.

In light of Russia’s largest and richest exception in the number and equipment, Ukraine resorted to the war of air and sea marches as a way to respond over 3 years of the comprehensive war.

The Ukrainian authorities confirm that their march boats – which are much cheaper and smaller than traditional ships – are causing great destruction in the Russian Black Sea fleet.

Dropping of a military helicopter

Ukraine said earlier that it had brought down a Russian military helicopter in December 2024 using a missile fired of the same type of boats.

While the Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on Ukraine’s statement, a reliable Russian blogger believed to be close to the ministry that the plane was shot down.

“Yesterday evening, the Su-30 fighter was dropped with a missile from the Ukrainian side, 50 km west of Novoroscic. It was dropped from a march boat equipped with a R-73-to-air missile.”

“The two pilots jumped with the umbrella, and saved them with civilian sailors, both of whom are alive,” he added.

For his part, the mayor of Novoroscic announced the state of emergency today, Saturday, after the local authorities said that an attack by Ukrainian drones resulted in damage to a grain store and many residential buildings, which resulted in the injury of 5 people.

Russian threat

Today, Russia accused Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski of threatening the safety of “Victory Day” celebrations on May 9 on the anniversary of World War II, after he said that Kiev could not guarantee the safety of world leaders who will visit Russia on that occasion.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Telegram that Zellinski “threatens the physical safety of the warrior warriors who will come to military performances and celebrations on the Holy Day,” adding that “his statements are of course a direct threat.”

She added that the statements of the Ukrainian president regarding the rejection of the initiative of the Eid Al -Nasr truce are not spontaneous, but a threat from an “international terrorist”.

Dmitry Medvedev, Vice -President of the Russian Security Council, said that no one can ensure that the capital Kiev remains until the tenth of May if Ukraine attacked Moscow during the “Victory Day” celebrations.

Medvedev – a former president of Russia – described Zelinski’s statements as a “verbal provocation”, stressing that no one asked for security guarantees from Kiev during the celebrations.

Medvedev – on his official channel on Telegram – wrote, “Zelinski realizes that in the event of a real provocation on the day of victory, no one will be able to ensure that Kiev remains until the tenth of May.”

Zelinski had confirmed earlier that his country does not guarantee the security of foreign leaders who will visit Moscow on May 9, noting that security incidents may occur.

“We do not know what Russia will do on this date, it may take various measures, such as fires and explosions, and then accuse us,” the French Press Agency quoted him as saying, in statements made to reporters on Friday, and it was banned today, according to the agency.

“We cannot take responsibility for what is happening on the lands of the Russian Federation. They guarantee your safety,” added to the leaders of the countries who will visit Moscow on the occasion of the celebration of the end of World War II.
