The first time that took place on the seventh of last April, he carried him on his back from under the tongues of the fire and ran him to the hospital, and he survived her day despite amputating two fingers from his right hand and burning him.
But the second time, at dawn today, Tuesday, Keshta could not do anything, as missiles were faster than his steps, as an Israeli plane targeted the burn department at Nasser Bakhn Yunis Hospital, south of the Gaza Strip, where a reconciliation was receiving treatment from his previous injury.
When a cream arrived with a number of his colleagues, his friend had died, and his body was covered with rubble. Al -Jazeera tells the details of what happened, “I was asleep in the tent of the journalists in front of the gate of Nasser Hospital. At dawn, I heard a huge explosion that shakes the place, I saw the flames rising from the third floor of the burn department specifically where he received good treatment.”
People love
Tamer ran with his colleagues and there he found destruction, smoke and fire, and he added, “We searched for Hassan, the rubble covered his head and chest, we tried to wake him up, but to no avail.” His colleagues carried him to the Emergency Department on the ground floor, and there the doctor announced that he was martyred, and then they started screaming in a state of hysteria.
It was not a normal journalist, who was visually a witness to the tragedies of Gaza for more than 15 years, known to the streets, camps and hospitals, as the simple people knew him before the officials. “Since 2009, it was a brave and honest servant, which cannot be issued by a fake news, so he must first make sure of his health before publishing it,” said Qishta about him.
And a special relationship with people was associated with people, which was their voice and their senses, according to Qishta, who adds, “We were walking with him and we envied him – on the way of joking – to people’s love for him, and we ask him: Why do people not pay attention to us as they do with you? Despite his fame that increased in recent years, he did not change and remained the simple and close person who helps his colleagues with everything he can.”
“Even in his tent in which he was working and sleeping, people were coming to him to ask for help, and he was always forced with their minds, whether it was medical or financial assistance or spread an appeal through his electronic platforms.”
More than 10 years ago, journalist Rabie Abu Naqira got acquainted with his colleague Hassan, and we have been a professional and human relationship that has been strengthened over time. Abu Naqira talks about the martyr in phrases that summarize a long experience of joint work, saying that he was “quiet and always present to serve others.”
“He was good to cooperate, especially with his colleagues, who initiates help, whether by information or by transporting one of them in his car, or even by providing his support for free,” he added.
He was conveying to us the news and the news becameAnd he was sending us the picture and the picture becameGood luck, very much, the human being, and the compassionate excessively!May God have mercy on you, good, and make your soul in Alia,As for the image of our prayers in the Al -Aqsa Mosque, it is inevitably comingWe do not know who will pray, nor who will be depictedBut the picture comes! pic.twitter.com/pur2zdw1l

Small and close
The journalist Abu Naqira narrates that people were resorting to Hassan as a platform for complaint and asking for help, not only because he was famous and followed by hundreds of thousands on communication networks, but because he was modest and close to them. In his journalistic tent in front of Nasser Hospital, he watched people to hold them with their concerns and pain, and he was reconciled, and he formulated their appeals and publish them immediately.
He added, “He never arrogated to anyone, always responds to his phone, listens to everyone, extends his hand to those who need, and writes about those who do not have a voice.” Abu Naqira notes that Hassan was one of the first Palestinian journalists to professionalize work through communication networks and was the first in spreading the Palestinian novel, and he became one of the most important reliable references.
He added, “Despite the deletion, restrictions and ban of his accounts, he did not stop, and he considered that his press message is resistance in itself, and that he must convey the voice of people, whatever the cost.” And he added, “For more than 15 years, he was present in all fields: among farmers in their fields, on the Rafah crossing with the stuck, in the devastating neighborhoods, in the homes of the martyrs, and among the ranks of the displaced, and he was always the first to arrive, and the fastest to transfer the image, and the most accurate person to narrate.”
Abu Naqira concludes his speech by saying, “The Palestinian press, the people and the truth lost him.”
“He was extending his hand to his new colleagues, teaching them, directing them and walking beside them until their return in the field intensified,” says journalist Bassam Zaaber, who met Hassan more than 15 years ago in the office of a satellite channel, where their friendship began.
The best evidence and companion
“Despite his fame, Hassan was rushing to support his colleagues, answering their questions, sharing his experiences, and directing them to the right path,” Zourab told Al -Jazeera Net. He remembers those years, saying, “He only sees you and smiles, you feel close to people at all times, every new journalist was finding the best evidence and companion.”
He touched closely the people’s love for the martyr, and with his inaccurate simplicity, as he remained modest despite his escalating fame, his wide relationships, and the number of his many followers.

Who is good?
Hassan began his media career in late 2009, and worked as a field press photographer chasing the details of aggression, violations and destruction.
With the spread of what has become known as the “new media” and social networks, the repair of its tools has developed, until it became one of the most famous activists in the Gaza Strip, and hundreds of thousands, especially through its channel on “Telegram”, whose number of subscribers reached more than 750 thousand followers, and also worked as a report of a number of news and satellite agencies.
People also knew him with his superior speed in reaching the place of the event, and spreading reliable information, using a wide network of relationships.
During the Israeli war, his platforms turned into a basic source of urgent news, not only for citizens, but even for journalists and international media institutions. Even in his last days, after his injury in the first assassination attempt, he did not stop working, and he continued to publish news on his electronic platforms.
