As the siege on Gaza continued, hunger began to kill the residents of the Strip, especially fragile groups.

According to international statistics, food needs do not meet more than 92% of children between 6 – 23 months, nor pregnant and lactating women due to the lack of lower food diversity. About 290,000 children under five and 150,000 pregnant women and breastfeeding women also need nutrition and fine supplements. It is estimated that more than 60,000 children will need this year to treat acute malnutrition as well as more than 16,000 pregnant women. More details and numbers in Walid Al -Attar’s report.
