Social media has celebrated the attacks that targeted the occupation forces in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, which activists considered as evidence of resistance to the retaining of their combat and organizational capabilities.

During the past few days, the Al -Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced the implementation of many qualitative operations against the occupation forces in a number of areas of the Strip.

According to the 5/25/25/5 episode of the “Networks” program, the last of these operations was the complex ambush that it carried out near the Al -Zahra Mosque in the Al -Genaina neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, in which a number of occupation soldiers killed and wounded.

The ambush was implemented in 3 stages in the same area, where an Israeli engineering force was lured into the ambush site, and the Qassam fighters clashed with it from zero. According to the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot, this force belongs to the elite unit “Yaalim”, which specializes in dismantling mines.

After that, some soldiers advanced towards the eye of a booby -trapped tunnel, so the Qassam fighters blew it up, and they caused them to be killed and wounded, then they targeted two Israeli tanks with “Yassin 105” shells.

In the second operation, Al -Qassam blew up a booby -trapped house by Israeli force, killing and wounding a number of them. Then they fled an anti -individuals with an Israeli force with 6 soldiers, and killed them dead and wounded.

Confession and celebration

The Israeli army confessed to the killing of an officer and a soldier and the injury of 4 others in the ambush, bringing the death toll in its ranks since the resumption of the war on Gaza two months ago, to 6 soldiers between an officer and a soldier.

Maya Rahal also wrote: “Sophisticated complex ambushes, combat contract and gang warfare, this is what the resistance factions in Gaza do with the invincible occupation army,” considering that this “proves that the resistance has not collapsed its military capabilities and its technical and organizational structures and that it is able to fight for years.”

As for Adel Saeed, he said, “The men of the Qassam performed what they had for a year and a half of the fighting with an enemy equipped with technology, as this is an honorable championship,” while Jaber said: “3 operations in one day and the same area, against pedestrians, tanks and elites.”

“Smart plans and professional tactics and Mujahideen have the will and boldness that a full army is unable to, despite the harsh battle conditions,” he added.

In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the killing of the officer and the soldier in the last Al -Qassam ambush in Rafah, saying that he would achieve the full victory in Gaza.

He added that his forces are fighting violent fighting in Gaza, adding, “There is a violent fighting in Gaza, and today we have lost two soldiers, and we focus our efforts on two mission, the first is to return the kidnapped, and the second is subject to Hamas, which is something we do not give up.”

Netanyahu concluded his speech by saying, “We have not yet ended the war, and we will achieve the full victory in Gaza, and we will not give up that, and we will do so with a unified and powerful army and firm soldiers.”
