The International Committee of the Red Cross warned, on Thursday, of an imminent collapse of the humanitarian work system in the Gaza Strip and described the situation as “hell” and denounced the “complete and unacceptable siege” that Israel imposes on entering aid to the destroyed Palestinian sector.
UN officials and non -governmental organizations have warned for weeks of the increasing shortage of fuel, medicines, food and drinking water in the Strip and consider humanitarian aid a lifeline of its residents, due to Israel’s prohibition of entry entirely since the beginning of March.
The Director General of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Pierre Krinboul, said today, Thursday, that governments should move immediately to stop the atrocities in Gaza, adding that the suffering there reached the extent of “doubting our humanity of its roots.”
He added in a statement to reporters in Geneva that “it is unacceptable to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip,” stressing that this “is fundamentally incompatible with everything stipulated in international humanitarian law.”
Krinpol stressed that “the next few days will be articulated,” and “a time will come when the remaining medical supplies and other aid will be exhausted.”
The Director of the International Committee of the Red Cross said that “what Gaza is witnessing is a cause of deep discontent, and the heavy human cost of this conflict cannot be accepted in any way.”

Israel imposed a comprehensive siege on the Strip in March, when it resumed the group annihilation campaign against the Palestinians of the Strip after a ceasefire in its 19 -month war.
Dozens of charitable kitchens in Gaza closed their doors today, due to the lack of supplies, which resulted in cutting a lifeline used by hundreds of thousands of people, and raised fears of more deaths related to malnutrition.
“It is a decisive moment for countries and global actors and concerned parties to refuse to allow this continuous horror to continue without interruption,” Krinpol added.
“Everyone should feel that it has been overwhelmed with what is happening in Gaza,” he said.
“Frankly, if these are the features of future wars, we all must feel panic, and we should be aware that what is happening threatens the essence of our humanity.”
According to reports, Israel is seeking to cancel the existing aid distribution system under the supervision of the United Nations in Gaza, so that all aid passes through its centers.
Krinpol stressed that “humanitarian organizations do not monopolize the delivery of aid, as countries can do that,” but stressed that the aid should not be politicized or politically guided and actually reach those who need them.
“At the present time, the most effective way to deliver aid to people is to raise the restrictions or decisions taken to prevent aid from reaching Gaza,” he added, stressing the presence of “huge amounts of aid on the Gaza border that can be entered tomorrow.”
Doctors Without Borders
In the same context, MSF considered that the absence of Israel’s accountability from its crimes was “shocking”, and that the organization “does not find words before the convergence of lives daily” in the Gaza Strip with the intensification of attacks on the Palestinians.
She added in a series of tweets via the “X” platform, that she suffers from “a lack of basic supplies and fuel needed to maintain its medical response, while the number of people with serious injuries continues to rise.”

She emphasized that since last March, no aid has entered the Gaza Strip “due to a decision by the Israeli authorities.”
UNRWA
For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) said today, Thursday, that Gaza has become a “land of despair”.
She said in a post on her Facebook page today, that “this hunger is unprecedented,” and stressed the need to lift the siege and the flow of supplies, calling for “the release of the hostages and the resumption of a ceasefire now.”
Gaza Civil Defense
In turn, the civil defense in the Gaza Strip warned on Thursday that it is about to completely stop working in light of the Israeli blockade for more than two months, and a spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza Mahmoud Beltal said that “75% of our vehicles stopped working because the diesel is not available to operate.”
“We are suffering a great deficit in the availability of electricity generators and oxygen devices in Gaza,” he added.
Gaza health
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Thursday, the death toll from the Israeli bombing to 52,760 martyrs and 119,64 injured since October 7, 2023.
She stated that, “the death toll from the martyrs and the injured since March 18 amounted to 2651 martyrs and 7223 injured,” and added that during the past 24 hours, 106 martyrs and 367 injured people arrived in the Gaza Strip hospitals.
