Several religious buildings were built in the town of Al -Eizariya in occupied Jerusalem in the vicinity of a grave that was said to have witnessed the Great Miracle of Christ by reviving the Liezer after his death.
A number of historians say that Alkazer was a friend of Christ, Jesus, peace be upon him, and his journey to him when he comes to visit the city of Jerusalem.
The accounts say that on one of the visits, our master Jesus – peace be upon him – came to ask about his friend Eliezer, so they told him about his death and he passed through his death for a period of time, so Jesus, peace be upon him, came to his grave, and said to him, “Arise, God willing,” so he walked and moved between people.
After this incident, the Christians considered that this place has an archaeological value.
The mayor of Al -Eizariya, Khalil Abu Al -Rish, said in a previous dialogue with Al -Jazeera Net that the number of tourists coming to visit the grave was about 450,000 tourists every year, but he shrunk to hundreds since the beginning of the war on Gaza in October 2023.
Hundreds of thousands of Christians are keen to visit the Lazyer tomb and the churches surrounding it in Al -Eizaria, Jerusalem.
