Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert described what Israel is now doing in the Gaza Strip as “close to a war crime.”
Olmert said – in statements to “BBC” on Tuesday – that the scene of the clear war “is the killing of thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians and many soldiers.”
The former Israeli Prime Minister added: “This is a war without a goal and without an opportunity to achieve anything that can save the hostages of the hostages.”
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper has described the situation of Israel as reaching the lowest level in its international position ever, and quoted an Israeli Foreign Ministry official as saying that Tel Aviv is facing a real tsunami that will worsen “and we are in the worst situation that we have ever in, and the world is not with us.”
Yediot Aharonot also described the unprecedented threat from 3 major Western powers – Britain, France and Canada – as a more practical declaration of formulas so far against Israel, and even makes it “seem an outcast country on the international scene.”
Yediot Aharonot quoted a source in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying that Israel is facing a real tsunami would get worse, as he put it.

With American support, Israel has been committing since October 7, 2023 genocide crimes in Gaza, which left more than 175,000 Palestinians between a martyr and a wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced people.
