The Jordanian House of Representatives has warned that the Israeli decision to close the “Fund and Qusf al -Quds” comes within a “dangerous context” to perpetuate the policy of Judaization and erase the Arab identity of the city, calling on the government to immediately move on the international scene, especially through the United Nations, to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities in order to retract its decision.

The parliament in Amman – through an official statement that Al -Jazeera Net has a copy of it – considered that the closure of the endowment represents a serious violation of international law and a direct attack on charitable and humanitarian action institutions that support the steadfastness of Jerusalemites, stressing that the continuation of the occupation in these practices threatens to detonate the situation in Jerusalem and the entire region.
Criminal decision
Representative Ayman Abu Al -Rab, a member of the Parliamentary Committee of Palestine, described in a statement to Al -Jazeera Net, the decision to close the Jerusalem endowment as “an unjust criminal decision from the occupation and from its extremist security minister, Bin Ghafir,” noting that the decision was issued under weak arguments, as the occupation authorities claimed that the fund does not exercise its duties and that it is involved in political activity or support for the Palestinian Authority.
Abu Al -Rab said, “The truth is that the fund has been known since its foundation for its charitable and educational work, and it was only known for its role in supporting the Jerusalemites and enhancing their steadfastness in their land,” stressing “the need for a speedy government move and communicating with international bodies to reopen the endowment, because of its fundamental role in installing Jerusalemites on their land until the occupation is demise.”
For his part, the head of the Jerusalem Cultural Forum, Dr. Muhammad Al -Bazour, stressed in his interview with Al -Jazeera Net that “the occupation is doing the closure of Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem, including the Jerusalem Fund and Quds, does not have any legal cover.”
He added, “The United Nations and the International Court of Justice clearly said that the occupation is illegal, and everything that entails false and not binding.”
Al -Bazour pointed out that the so -called Israeli “National Law” does not grant legitimacy to the occupation, but rather increases tension and is a disregard for Muslim feelings and rights around the world. He said, “This is a dangerous escalation, and the occupation must bear its full responsibility in front of the international community,” calling on the Arab and Islamic countries and the free world to “the urgent action to stop this tampering with the future of Jerusalem and the stability of the region.”
Systematic Judaization
For his part, the researcher specializing in Jerusalem affairs, Ziyad Abhais, said that the Israeli decision comes in the context of a systematic Judaization of the city, by hitting institutions that form the backbone of the Palestinian societal structure.
He told Al -Jazeera Net that “the occupation knows completely that the survival of the Jerusalemites in their city needs a strong support structure, so it is targeted directly,” calling on Arab and Islamic governments to pressure in every way to stop these threats that surround Jerusalem
The Jerusalem Fund and stopping the initiative of Palestinian and Arab personalities were established to enable the steadfastness of Jerusalemites and protect the identity of the city of Jerusalem from Judaization, as the fund works to develop the vital sectors in the city, such as education, housing, health, and economic empowerment, and is implemented by many projects.
Among his most prominent achievements: building and supporting dozens of schools, providing university scholarships, restoring homes, protecting real estate and supporting hospitals, in addition to implementing humanitarian campaigns during crises, and establishing a business development center.
