International newspapers dealt with the developments of the war in the Gaza Strip, one of which said that Israel is preparing the conditions to exterminate its residents, and another talked about unannounced efforts aimed at declaring a ceasefire before the end of US President Donald Trump’s visit to the region.

“Lovigaro” quoted MSF as saying that the Israeli government is preparing conditions for the extermination of the Palestinians, commenting on violent raids launched on the sector yesterday, Wednesday.

The French newspaper also pointed to the warnings of many NGOs of the occurrence of a collective famine in Gaza, while Israel continued to prevent the introduction of food aid to the population.

Meanwhile, “Israel Hume” quoted sources as saying that the Americans are making extensive contacts with Israel and other parties to reach a ceasefire agreement before Trump’s visit to the region ended.

The Israeli newspaper quoted Arab and American sources as saying that the proposal that is being worked on is based on an immediate end to fight with the release of half of the Israeli prisoners within days, and to start negotiations to completely end the war.

In the same context, “Haaretz” quoted an Israeli official that the American envoy Stephen Witkeov spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu several times during the past 24 hours, but he was unable to push him to change his position on the negotiations.

That official said that Israel “is still committed” to the Witkeov plan (which Israel amended to include the launch of half of the prisoners immediately and the removal of Hamas) that was proposed two and a half months ago, and stipulates the release of 10 and a half bodies of the dead bodies as a condition for entering into a 45 -day fighting negotiation.

A turning point in Syria

In another matter, the American “Wall Street Journal” dealt with the meeting that brought the President with his Syrian counterpart Ahmed Al -Shara in the Saudi capital after the first announcement of the penalties of Damascus.

The newspaper suggested that this meeting represented a turning point in the global acceptance of Sharia, and quoted US and Israeli officials as saying that they were hoping to extract great concessions from Sharia in exchange for the reduction of sanctions.

Finally, the British “Times” said that Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Syria is concerned about Israel, noting that Netanyahu “may be concerned about the extensive dispute between him and Trump.”
