Newspapers and global sites shed light on the humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip in light of the continuation of the Israeli war, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to stop it, despite the international pressure exerted on it.

The British newspaper “Al -Sunaei Times” published an investigation of hunger that dominates the children of Gaza, along with the pain of parents from their inability to provide the minimum pleasures of their livers. The newspaper returned to the child Sham, who continued the first days of her birth 5 months ago, and found her in a lamentation condition, as she cries constantly not only from hunger, but from the harsh pain and life she lives with her family.

The newspaper quotes Shaima, the mother of Sham as saying: “The children here are skin and bone, and I am afraid that my daughter will become so.”

The Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” said that international calls to Israel are escalating, even from its closest allies to end the war on Gaza, and the newspaper refers in this context to my invitation to my foreign and German foreign ministers to stop the war.

European positions – the newspaper adds – intersect with US President Donald Trump’s warning against the exacerbation of hunger in Gaza, and with the call of the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, to end the suffering of the Palestinians, and warn that the blockade and starvation are a flagrant violation of international law.

The French newspaper “Liberation” touched on the state of discontent in the Israeli army, especially among the reserve soldiers, from the government’s intention to launch a large -scale attack that it would be decisive, and the newspaper says that the soldiers have become prey to doubt and anger, and quotes one of them as saying, “How will we justify our children what we do in Gaza?”

The newspaper adds that the health sector in Israel beats the alarm, which has reached the psychological state of the soldiers returning from Gaza, and quotes workers in the Strip that suicide cases between the soldiers are increasing, and they are a candidate to rise after the war.

Exhaustion

In the same context, it was stated in an analysis published by the French “Mediabart” website that “the military campaign that Netanyahu and his allies want is the most violent, decisive in Gaza, and coincides with a state of extreme exhaustion and anger between Israeli soldiers and reserve forces from the continuation of the war on Gaza.”

The site says – in the analysis entitled “The Israeli army is boiling anger at the war” – that the Israeli army is used to wars, but the current war exhausted it and turned into a national illness, and it was expressed.

On the other hand, the Swiss “Loton” wrote that Switzerland is strengthening itself as a guarantor of international humanitarian law, but at the same time it is keen to avoid disturbing Israel.

She added that Switzerland’s positions of Israeli abuses remained fixed and strict, but it changed with Agnazio Cassis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, pointing out that Cassis was at the head of the “Swiss -Israeli Friendship Committee”, and caused a stir as soon as he was appointed as a minister when he asked: Is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) part of the problem or from the solution?
