An Israeli media said on Sunday that the Israeli air defense systems leadership opened an investigation after a Yemeni missile at Ben Gurion Airport, while Israeli ambulance reported several injuries as a result of the explosion.
The Israeli Army Radio quoted a military source as saying that the Israeli and Hayitz systems tried to intercept the Yemeni missile, but they failed, at a time when millions of Israelis went to the shelters.
The Israeli Channel 12 said that the Yemeni missile exceeded 4 layers of air defense and fell to the heart of Ben Gurion Airport, noting that the missile warhead was “very large, causing a wave of massive explosions.”
In turn, the Israeli police were directed to prevent heading towards Ben Gurion Airport, while the Israeli Channel 12 reported that the upcoming and departing flights were stopped.

The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper also quoted the head of the Civil Aviation Authority staff as saying that there was injured by the fall of the missile near the Passenger Building No. 3, while the platforms of scenes said that it was for a moment the missile.

An Israeli media also said that the security leadership is very concerned about the failure to repel the Yemeni missile that targeted Ben Gurion Airport, noting that there are “concerns about Israel that international airlines will decide to suspend its flights due to targeting the airport.”
And the Ansar Allah group (the Houthis) previously announced that it targeted the Israeli Ben Gurion Airport several times, one of which was a missile that it said was an audio hyperthyroidite “Palestine 2”, noting that it is “It has achieved success and led to the stopping of air navigation at the airport.”
