Hamas stressed that the world should raise the word “no” in the face of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for using starvation as a weapon in Gaza, which suffers a complete siege for the third month in a row.
The movement described the prevention of thousands of trucks accumulated from entering Gaza at a time when children dies starved as a complex war crime.
Hamas expressed its support for the position of international organizations rejecting any arrangements that do not respect humanitarian principles in introducing and distributing aid.
The movement denounced the positions of the Arab and Islamic countries, and said that it does not rise to the size of the catastrophe caused by the genocide war and the crime of starvation in Gaza.
“We do not accept any proposal or plan that does not amount to the level of basic humanitarian principles of neutrality, integrity and independence in delivering aid.”
The spokesman for the UN office, Yens Lairk, explained that Israel’s plan “is intended to increase control and restrict supplies, which is the opposite of what is required.”
9 weeks
In the context, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said that more than 9 weeks have passed since the siege of Gaza, in which Israel prevents the entry of all humanitarian, medical and commercial aid.
UNRWA added that the longer this siege is, the greater the unforgiving damage to the life of countless people.
The agency confirmed that thousands of trucks affiliated with it are ready to enter, noting that its teams in Gaza are ready to expand the scope of delivery operations.
For his part, the director of medical relief in the Gaza Strip, Mohamed Abu Afsh, said that the sector hospitals are suffering very scarce in medical supplies and medical staff alike.
During an intervention with Al -Jazeera, Abu Afash stressed that the Gaza Strip did not enter any pill for 9 weeks.
In turn, the Euro -Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights confirmed earlier that the Gaza Strip is witnessing a silent death wave that harvested the increasing numbers of the lives of the elderly and children, noting that these increasing deaths occur due to the deadly living conditions imposed by Israel on the people of the Strip.
