Today, Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) mourned a leader in the Izz al -Din al -Qassam Brigades, the movement’s military wing killed in an Israeli raid in the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon.

The movement said – in a statement – “We mourn the Qassami leader Khaled Al -Ahmad, who rose in a treacherous Zionist raid in the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon at dawn today.”

The Lebanese Ministry of Health had announced earlier the death of a person in an Israeli raid on a car in the city of Sidon.

It is noteworthy that Israel has committed since the ceasefire agreement between it and Hezbollah on November 27, 2024, more than a thousand violations of the agreement, which resulted in 86 dead and at least 285 wounded, according to official Lebanese data.
