Today, Friday, the regions of the northern Gaza Strip witnessed a wide wave of displacement for hundreds of Palestinian families, after the massacres committed by the Israeli army that resulted in the death of at least 100 people, including women and children, and the injury of dozens of others, in a violent artillery and air strike that hit housing -crowd neighborhoods since dawn hours.
The Anatolia Agency reported that the people fled the neighborhoods of the Western Roundabout, Al -Amoudi, Sultans, Izbat Abd Rabbo, and Hill Qalbo, north of Beit Lahia, amid widespread destruction and lack of transportation, as many were forced to walk on foot or the use of primitive vehicles drawn by animals.
Witnesses said that the displaced was forced to leave their homes or the shelter tents urgently without taking their property, for fear of being subjected to a similar fate to the victims who died as a result of the night raids that targeted 11 houses inhabited by residents in multiple areas of the northern Gaza Strip.
A spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Bella, confirmed that the rescue crews have recovered the bodies of 50 martyrs since dawn, while it is believed that more than 50 others are still stuck under the rubble, with many sites could not be reached due to the intensity of the bombing and the situation inside the sector.
A large number of victims
For his part, the Director of Medical Supply in Civil Defense, Mohamed Al -Mughair, said that the bombing targeted the homes of citizens, and caused a large number of victims to fall during the night hours. He added that the rescue operations are still continuing, despite the great risks.
Doctors at Al -Awda Hospital and the Indonesian confirmed that most of the victims are children and women, noting that hospitals are suffering from a severe shortage of supplies and medical supplies.
These bloody developments come in conjunction with the visit of US President Donald Trump to the region, which was concluded on Friday from the Emirates, after he visited Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Trump had admitted in statements made by Riyadh that there is a famine in Gaza, pledging “to pay attention to it”, without providing any clear obligations to stop Washington’s military support to Israel.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has continued a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the fall of more than 173 thousand martyrs and wounded, in addition to more than 11 thousand missing, amid international accusations of genocide against the Palestinians with full American support.
