The Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Dr. Ismail Al -Thawabta, said that the Israeli occupation has committed more than 12,000 massacres against the Palestinian people, and that about 2,200 families have been completely erased from the Palestinian civil registry since the beginning of the aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023.
The constants revealed – in statements to Al -Jazeera Net – horrific figures documenting the size of the humanitarian catastrophe resulting from the continuous Israeli aggression on the Strip, with an escalation of talking about the extermination of thousands of Palestinian families and their survey from the civil registry, in an unprecedented scene.

- About 2,200 families were completely exterminated, as all of their members were martyred without exception, and they were permanently wiped from civil records.
- The number of martyrs in these families exceeded 6,350 people.
- More than 5120 families have only one individual, as these families lost more than 9351 of their children.
Commenting on this, the constants emphasized that these horrific numbers reflect the size of the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, and confirm that what is going on is an organized ethnic cleansing and real genocide committed by the occupation in light of international silence and clear collusion. He pointed to “the need to submit these evidence to the international judicial authorities to try the occupation leaders as war criminals.”
A systematic policy
For his part, the security and military expert, Osama Khaled, saw that targeting Palestinian families embodies a systematic Israeli policy aimed at revenge on specific families for the purpose of revenge from them, as they graduated great leaders and balanced resistance, and was a real incubator for the thought of resistance at the moral and popular levels.
In statements to Al -Jazeera Net, Khaled saw that this policy aims to break the popular steadfastness and strike the social incubator of the Palestinian resistance, in an attempt to consolidate a state of terror and despair in society despite the adherence of the Gazans with their awareness and their insistence on cohesion.
With regard to the high number of families that are completely killed as a result of the Israeli bombing, the security and military expert pointed out that the matter is due to the state of popular displacement and the population assembly of the disgraceful, as most of the gatherings are based on the same family and their relatives in one place and sometimes in one building, to escape the intense shelling.

The only survivor

In statements to Al -Jazeera Net – Bella indicated that the “only survivor” phenomenon is repeated daily, and this person may be a child or an old person, and he does not find someone to support him after he lost all members of his family.
“Yesterday I was a visit to the elderly hospital and sat with a woman about 70 years old, and all her family were killed, and this lady has married girls abroad, but everyone who was with her here was killed. It is a very sad scene,” said a civil defense spokesman in Gaza.
In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced in its daily report that the number of martyrs since the start of the Israeli aggression has risen to 53 thousand and 339 martyrs, along with 121 thousand and 34 wounded, and this comes in light of the continued intense bombing of the sector and the absence of any ceasefire horizon, which exacerbated the poor humanitarian conditions at all levels.
The survivors, most of them children and the elderly, face the shock of the entire family loss and the absence of any breadwinner, at a time when Palestinian warnings continue of the dangers of continuing “wiping families” from the civil registry and threatening the Palestinian social fabric.
