International newspapers and websites highlighted the Israeli plans to distribute aid in the Gaza Strip, and the American bombing of Yemen, in addition to the Israeli raids on Syria.
Relief officials told the British newspaper Guardian that Israel’s plans to supervise the distribution of aid in Gaza are not practical or moral, as it establishes a permanent collective displacement within the besieged sector.
The newspaper report indicates that talking about the aid -rescue plans again comes amid continuous threats to expand military operations inside Gaza.
In the same context, the Israeli newspaper Maariv quoted its sources that the issue of humanitarian aid will be at the table of the political and security council (cabinet) for discussion during the coming hours, so a new mechanism is promoted to distribute humanitarian aid.
The newspaper estimates that Gaza will be on the brink of the abyss within two weeks to a month, and at that time the aid distribution mechanism should be ready for implementation, including the establishment of distribution centers inside the sector.
A goal that has not been achieved
As for the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot, it dealt with the intense American bombing of Ansar Allah group (Houthis) in Yemen, and stated that this bombing was not enough to prevent them from launching 4 separate attacks on Israel within one day, which reflects the group’s retaining military capabilities and a desire to challenge.
According to the newspaper, the Pentagon (the US Defense Ministry) claims that the American campaign has had a tangible impact, but the main goal of stopping attacks on Israel and securing the freight corridors in the Red Sea was not achieved.
On the other hand, a report in the French newspaper Liberation was interested in the Israeli raids that targeted areas in Syria on the pretext of supporting the Druze, and quoted an analyst as saying that “Israel hopes to find local allies, especially in southern Syria, on the one hand, and seeks to influence the balance of power on the other hand, while the features of the future of Syria remain unclear.”
