Gaghoun Levy wrote that his friend (M) in the Gaza Strip told him that insulin is almost running out of him, and he is the person with life -threatening ketoacid acids.

Levy explained – in his corner of the Haaretz newspaper – that his friend was getting insulin from the UNRWA. UNRWA. But since Israel stopped entering humanitarian aid, insulin is no longer available, and it has reassured that this substance is taken only when eating bread, and it does not need it now because there is no bread.

(M) said in a phone call from his burning house in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza, which he recently returned, that he had only two drops, or perhaps he intended two units of insulin, and he spared the last dose of it, perhaps he and his family find a piece of bread.

His son went out looking for hours for Popcorn to calm his stomach on Wednesday, but to no avail, and the father said, “I told him that he would not find anything” and said that for the first time since the war began, “I am hungry, very hungry” although he always tries to calm things, and to alleviate his ordeal so that he does not arouse compassion and preserves his dignity.

Why are they bombing?

On Wednesday, he admitted that he was really hungry. Tuesday was very difficult because Israel bombed the northern Gaza Strip without stopping, and the children wanted to leave, but he asked them, “Where do we go?” They all sat in the remainder of their house under the shells, before they decided that they would leave if the bombing did not subside by five in the evening, and fortunately the bombing calmed down before that.

(M), who returned to the ruins of his house after many months in a camp in the “human” area adjacent to Khan Yunis: Why are they still bombing even though there are neither detainees nor Hamas (the Islamic Resistance Movement) in Beit Lahia, and there are only piles of rubble.

When (M.), 63, who suffered a stroke, returned, and the journey from the camp to his burning house was 334 dollars – he found what their home was just a dilapidated structure covered with soot, and he is now afraid that he would soon flee to preserve his life and his family’s life.

My conversations with (M) were frustrated -as the writer says -because of my old age, he sat outside his house on Wednesday, looking at the remains of the Mercedes car -which he was driving for years, sometimes relying on gasoline when there is, and sometimes on frying oil used from falafel stalls when gasoline runs out.

The Mercedes bile car is now a burning structure, and (M) grieves over it than he grieves at his home, because he spent more hours inside it than he spent in it, and he says that he sometimes raised it, while he suffocated, opens its burning box and regains his memories, as he bought it a few days before the war, 4 new tires, but he did not have its leadership.

The writer concluded that the taxi is now fragile as its hungry owner, as it took on Tuesday some lentils, and Wednesday did not eat anything, and when he was able to get flour or bread, he will inject himself with the last remaining insulin drops.
