France and Ireland today, Tuesday, expressed their condemnation and concern over Israel’s plan to control Gaza and its new military campaign against the besieged Palestinian sector.
French Foreign Minister Jean -Noel Barrow said in a statement to the French Radio “RTL” that the Israeli plan is “unacceptable”, considering that the Israeli government violates humanitarian law.
He added that “the most urgent need is the ceasefire and the arrival of humanitarian aid without obstacle,” according to the French Press Agency.
For his part, Irish Foreign Minister Simon Harris said that his country is concerned about Israel’s plans to expand its military operations in Gaza, calling for “restraint.”
Harris quoted the World Food Program as confirming the depletion of supplies, and that famine has become a real threat in Gaza, saying, “We feel deep disgusting and disgust from the continued prevention of Israel from entering humanitarian aid to the Strip.”
The Irish Foreign Minister had said earlier that the expansion of Israeli operations in Gaza would result in more deaths and inhumane suffering for the Palestinians.

These statements came after Israeli reports reported on Monday that the government has been approved by a plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip.
This coincided with the decision of the occupation army to summon tens of thousands of reserve soldiers to expand the fighting in the Strip, in addition to the repeated Israeli payment of the idea of ”voluntary immigration” for the Palestinians.
According to Israeli leaks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained that the plan is different from its predecessors, in terms of “we move from the method of incursions to the occupation and survival of lands.”
The Israeli plan comes, while the United Nations and relief organizations warn of a humanitarian catastrophe, with the specter of starvation returning more than two months after the Israeli siege applied to the Strip.
Since the seventh of October 2023, Israel has launched a war of genocide on Gaza, leaving more than 52,000 martyrs and tens of thousands of wounded, destroying the Strip, displacing and starving the Palestinians.
