Sami Abu Zuhri, head of the political department of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) abroad, said that the Israeli occupation is trying to confuse the square with fake news in order to pressure the resistance and pass its crimes against the people of Gaza.
Abu Zuhri added, in statements to the Al -Aqsa satellite channel – which belongs to the movement – that there is no truth to what is reported about the movement’s approval to release 9 Israeli prisoners in exchange for a two -month truce.
“We have initiated the handing over of the soldier Alexander Aidan in order to create the atmosphere to reach an agreement, but the American administration did not appreciate our step.”
Abu Zuhri stressed that Hamas will not give the occupation to the occupation as long as his insistence continues to go to the end of his aggression on the Gaza Strip, noting that the movement is ready to release the prisoners at once, provided that the occupation is obligated to stop the war with an international guarantee
He pointed out that the resistance is fine and there is no concern about its future and its operations continues despite the huge difference in equipment with the Israeli occupation army.
American and Israeli conditions
Earlier on Sunday, the American envoy for “hostages” affairs, Adam Buller, said that the enthusiasm of its detainees if it wanted to stop the bombing.
“We will witness the release of the hostages through rigor and strength,” Boller added, in press statements.
The new round of Doha negotiations started a few days ago in conjunction with the tour of US President Donald Trump in the region, which included Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the Emirates.
Prior to a meeting of the Israeli mini cabinet, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement saying that the Israeli negotiating team is working in Doha to exhaust every opportunity to reach an agreement, whether according to the plan of the American envoy Steve Witkev or as part of the end of the fighting.
He added that the agreement should include the release of all detainees, the removal of Hamas fighters from Gaza, and to make Gaza a demilitarized zone.

On the other hand, Hamas expressed its willingness to reach an agreement that leads to the release of its prisoners at once in exchange for stopping the war, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza, and its reconstruction.
With an American support, Israel has been committing since October 7, 2023 genocide crimes in Gaza, which left more than 174,000 Palestinians between a martyr and a wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, as well as hundreds of thousands of displaced people.
