A body concerned with the reconstruction of Palestine in general and the Gaza Strip in particular, in accordance with the slogan it adopted since its establishment “Hand in hand for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip”, and it works independently and non -profit, and includes bodies, forums and Arab engineering, economic, social, Islamic and international private, and she is a member of a number of international and international organizations.
Foundation
The Arab International Reconstruction Authority in Palestine was established in Jordan in 2009 after the captivating bullet war launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip in December 2008, at the initiative of the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate, and with the participation of leaders and representatives of engineering bodies and businessmen associations in the Arab and Islamic countries and a group of official personalities.
At the beginning of its founding, the authority launched the Arab Authority for the Reconstruction of Gaza, and then changed its name to the Arab International Reconstruction Authority in Palestine, in response to the need to carry out reconstruction operations in a number of Palestinian towns, especially in occupied Jerusalem.
Goals
The authority has set itself for several goals, which is a contribution to uniting the Arab and international civil efforts and mobilizing energies and resources to improve the living reality in Palestine, and the civil contribution to its reconstruction, in addition to collecting and coordinating the engineering, economic, economic and international financial and financial efforts to follow up the reconstruction or on behalf of the institutions supporting the Palestinians.
Besides, the commission sets a set of long -term goals that exceed immediate relief to include building society capabilities, improving health infrastructure, and creating specialized hospitals and treatment centers for cancer patients using radiology.
The authority also plans to expand its services to include the establishment of psychotherapy centers for children, and to provide support for orphans, wounded and people with special needs.
Headquarters
The headquarters of the commission is located in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and it has offices in the Gaza Strip and the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank and branches in many Arab and Islamic countries.

Structure and financing
The Arab International Authority for the Reconstruction of Palestine is headed by the former Jordanian Prime Minister Taher Al -Masry, while its board of directors is chaired by Eng. Zuhri Al -Omari, and includes many members, including ministers, deputies, personalities and businessmen from different countries.
Activists and international institutions specializing in the field of relief contributes to supporting the commission, as well as “the efforts of the good in the world”, to support it and to ensure that supplies arrive smoothly in Palestine in general and the Gaza Strip in particular.
The authority relies on its financing on a wide network of partners and donors, in addition to its offices spread in a number of Arab and European countries, and relief societies in the Islamic and Western world, and among its most important partners:
The authority says it depends on “a system of institutional controls to ensure transparency and accountability in financing management, and only deals with recognized institutions.”
And launched an interactive digital platform that allows the donors fully aware of the details of each project, from the stage of the offering and the tender to the percentage of completion and financial payments due and the name of the executing contractor.
Gaza reconstruction
With the support of its partners, the commission completed dozens of projects in Palestine, the most prominent of which is the establishment and equipment of the Children’s Hospital and the birth, Al -Wafa Hospital, Baraka Al -Amal, a number of schools, and more than 600 housing units.
Since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the commission carried out dozens of projects to support the steadfastness of the residents of the Strip, the most important of which is the urgent shelter project for the displaced, which aims to meet the urgent needs of the population through:
- Distribution of tents and caravans to house the displaced.
- Securing drinking water in the besieged areas.
- Restoration of bakeries to ensure minimal food security.
In parallel, the commission worked to prepare the perceptions and plans necessary for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip destroyed by the Israeli war.
The commission held two meetings in Istanbul, Turkey, the first on the second of March 2024 under the slogan “Gaza .. Together we return it to the most beautiful”, in the presence of the members of the board of directors of the authority and its branches officials in more than 20 countries, and guests and figures interested in Palestinian affairs.
On April 18, 2025, the commission launched a forum carrying the slogan “from the rubble we build hope”, in the presence of experts and many donor societies and institutions from all over the world, in a move aimed at launching an integrated vision for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and unifying international and institutional efforts in this path.
According to the authority’s data until April 2025, the Israeli aggression on Gaza resulted in the destruction of about 450,000 housing units and the damage of thousands of establishments, including 3725 industrial facilities, 1661 educational institutions, 1129 mosques, and the collapse of hundreds of health and service facilities.
In an initial outcome, the body estimated the material losses resulting from the aggression at about 50 billion dollars.
