The Palestinian resistance climbed its operations against the Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, while the occupation army is preparing to expand its attack, a strategy that experts say aimed at pushing US President Donald Trump to stop the war or starve the population at the very least.

The latest survey of the National Security Institute also revealed that 71% lose confidence in Netanyahu and that 56% say that the war has become politicized, while 69% want to stop the fighting and go to an agreement, especially since Netanyahu is legally detailed to exempt the Haredi from military service.
Therefore, all eyes are currently commenting on the results of the visit that Trump will make for the region this week, because the recent American messages reflect a change in the tone of the conversation and the tendency towards stopping the war to restore the prisoners, says Karam.
Focus on human losses
On the military side, Brigadier Elias Hanna says that the last ambush that occurred in Shuja’ia is part of a continuous escalation process that the resistance has pursued during the past weeks to inflict Israel as much human losses as possible.
The resistance is trying, through these operations, which occurred in more than one place to confuse the Israeli strategy throughout the sector, especially since the Shujaiya ambush targeted a group that was carrying out reconnaissance operations, according to Hanna.

In addition, the expert in the Israeli affairs, Dr. Muhannad Mustafa, says that the internal scene in Israel has changed since the violation of the ceasefire, and that the important factor currently is the absence of consensus on the military operation popularly and politically according to all opinion polls.
Mustafa attributes this change to the Israeli desire to return to their natural life, and that they believe that the war no longer serves the issue of the prisoners or the restoration of the relationship between the people and the state, as well as they do not trust the government that moves according to special interests and ideology is not an agreement.
Even the idea of displacement is no longer the same acceptance inside Israel, because the desire for revenge and sacrifice is no longer the same as after October 20, 2023, says Mustafa, who believes that stopping the war is in Trump’s hand.
But this stop will not be achieved -in the opinion of Mustafa, except with serious pressure from Trump on Netanyahu, and his persuasion that Israel will not be part of the new Middle East that it wants, because any agreement that includes withdrawing from Gaza means the fall of the government and the whole right unless it stipulates the disarmament of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
Exploiting Trump’s visit
In the context, political researcher Saeed Ziyad believes that the escalation of the resistance aims to persuade Trump that the war is not futile and pushed to stop it or to stop starvation, at least.
The reason for this, in the opinion of Ziyad, that the resistance sees Trump’s visit to the region and changing the American dialect is a favorable opportunity to persuade him that Israel is unable to resolve militarily as it claims from the beginning of the war.
Although there is no strategic separation between the United States and Israel, but the resistance – in the opinion of Ziad – believes that the lack of Trump’s visit to Tel Aviv and the abolition of his defense minister’s visit to it, things that may provide a greater opportunity for Arab countries to persuade Trump to take the decision to stop the war or starvation and go to negotiations without talking about the disarmament of Hamas.
